Dr. William J. Giakas has over 37 years of experience and completed his psychiatry residency training at Yale University School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Med Sch-UMDNJ and is a member of both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP). Dr. Giakas is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Giakas specializes in Forensic Psychiatry and Geriatric Medicine and aims to provide compassionate and effective treatment for emotional pain by combining the latest medical treatment options with mental health care.
