My therapeutic approach is deemed egalitarian and collaborative, as I believe that the patient is the expert of their own experiences and their selves. We work together to develop treatment goals and desired outcomes. I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, Solution-Focused, and Whole-Self approaches to assist in the amelioration of mental health symptoms. The therapeutic relationship is fundamental in developing trust, mutual respect, understanding, compassion, and empathy. I welcome autonomy and feedback in treatment processes and goals. My clinical training encompasses different clinical sites and presentations, and additionally with diverse individuals, couples, and families. I appreciate diversity and apply a cultural lens to understand patient presentations. I especially enjoy working with individuals coping with depression, anxiety, family or couple conflict, and trauma recovery.
