I am an experienced physician in Child Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry and have an extensive background in blending the best of my training also in Internal Medicine and simple Holistic suggestions in an Integrative Psychiatry & Medical approach. I do my best to incorporate well rounded education, and different forms of therapy to focus on a heart centered empathic approach to health, healing Medicine Psychiatry and related areas. I am board certified in Child Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry with Board recert pending in Internal Medicine. Recently I completed the new Integrative Medicine boards as well with an additional 2 year training to blend the best of conventional medicine with holistic themes thoughts focus and practice. Born and raised in Texas and having an East Indian background I also am very experienced in dealing with cross cultural issues especially East West generational similarities and differences to bridge the best in health and wholeness. I am also well seasoned in dealing and understanding the impact of co-dependency and related issues as well as personality challenges that many face & experience today and who need a physician who understands how these issues impact their overall psychiatric, medical, emotional, mental and yes Spiritual & creative well-being. I am an artist of all types and encourage active art as one aspect of the therapy and healing process. Creative expression and manifestation in my opinion is an important and powerful way to understand and dive deeper into one's Self, emotions/heart and mind. I work within people's unique belief systems for those who have one or not to get them to see, feel and understand that health care is an actual ongoing endeavor and can be a creative and spiritual practice in itself via our Self esteem that is ever growing changing expanding and evolving.
