I am an experienced physician specializing in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. With a strong background in Internal Medicine, I integrate holistic approaches into my practice, focusing on an Integrative Psychiatry and Medical model. I strive to provide well-rounded care by incorporating various therapeutic modalities and fostering a heart-centered, empathetic approach to health and healing. I am board-certified in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry and am pending recertification in Internal Medicine. Recently, I completed the new Integrative Medicine Boards, alongside an additional two years of training to effectively blend Conventional Medicine with holistic principles. Born and raised in Texas with East Indian heritage, I have extensive experience addressing cross-cultural issues, particularly the generational similarities and differences between Eastern and Western perspectives. This background enables me to bridge diverse approaches to health and wholeness. I am well-versed in the challenges of co-dependency and personality disorders, as well as their impact on emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It is essential for a physician to understand these dynamics to provide comprehensive care. As an artist, I encourage creative expression as a vital aspect of therapy and healing.
