Meet Josefina
I began working as a therapist in 2020. I have worked as a therapist for the Dept of Child Services, I've worked for a private practice, as a group counselor for individuals with Opioid use disorder, I have also worked providing home based therapy. I chose to be a therapist because I wanted to help people improve the quality of their lives. I wanted to provide them with hope. I work primarily treating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I have extensive experience working with young women and teen girls. I rely heavily on strength based therapy to help individuals become empowered and gain confidence in their ability to overcome challenges. I also often utilize DBT along with visual imagery and mindfulness meditation practices. I am certified in CBT and REBT I believe in taking a holistic approach to healing by focusing on the mind/body connection.
