Meet Florence
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through private practice, hospital, and university settings. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling, a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a master’s in French. I specialize in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, parenting challenges, and complex family dynamics, including those in immigrant communities. I also work with couples to address communication patterns and build stronger relationships using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I view this work as a calling and strive to create a space of compassion, accountability, and hope—where setbacks become opportunities to reflect and rebuild. Outside of counseling, I enjoy music, dancing, reading, and time with loved ones.
