Meet Endia
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Illinois. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and my Master of Science in Nursing from DePaul University. With several years of experience in outpatient psychiatry, I believe every patient has a unique set of experiences rooted in their individual biological and social backgrounds. I find great fulfillment in learning these stories and partnering with my patients to address the challenges they face. I am committed to truly listening to my patients and recognize that change is a collaborative process. While I am here to provide support, I believe the responsibility for growth ultimately lies with the patient. I don’t believe in forcing medications or therapy, but instead, I work with you to help you make the choices that are right for you, with my guidance. My primary goal is to offer my best recommendations, empowering you to make well-informed decisions about your care. I value honesty and will always provide clear, expert advice, even if it means acknowledging that I may not be the right fit for every patient. Life’s journey can sometimes require guidance, and I hope to help you navigate yours. I have a special interest in working with individuals seeking help for attachment disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, ADHD, schizoaffective disorder, alcoholism, and depression.
