I previously served in the United States Army for a total of 8 years active duty. While in the Army, I treated service members and their families with an emphasis on improving symptoms related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and difficult life cycle transitions. I have a passion connecting with my patients and assisting them through turbulent times of their life while fostering personal growth and resilience. I use supportive therapy, client centered therapy, motivational interviewing as well as acceptance and commitment therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy components along with utilizing medication management.
