Meet Alison
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to supporting individuals from all walks of life. My personal experience overcoming a rare genetic disorder has shaped my therapeutic approach, fostering empathy, resilience, and a strong belief in the power of hope. I view therapy as a collaborative process grounded in mutual respect, where each client’s voice and experience are central to the work we do together. I specialize in working with individuals age 15 and older who are navigating PTSD, addiction, anxiety, mood disorders, LGBTQ+ identity, body dysmorphic disorder, personality disorders (including narcissistic and antisocial traits), domestic abuse, and schizoaffective disorder. My background includes working in detox, inpatient rehabilitation, home visiting, and with individuals in communities impacted by violence, poverty, and substance use. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and strive to create a nonjudgmental, empowering space where healing and growth can take root.
