Geode Health: where your well-being is at the heart of our transformative and holistic approach to mental health care.

At Geode Health of Fort Worth, we recognize the individuality of each person’s journey towards mental well-being and fighting mental health issues. Our approach in determining the frequency of therapy or psychiatry sessions is deeply personalized, adapting to the unique mental health needs and life circumstances of each client. Whether the sessions are best suited on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, our commitment is to align these meetings with the specific requirements of the individual.

Our team of mental health professionals is dedicated to establishing a collaborative relationship with our clients. We focus on developing a comprehensive treatment plan that not only suggests the ideal frequency of therapy or psychiatry sessions but also integrates seamlessly with each person’s mental health objectives. This thoughtful approach ensures that every aspect of care is attuned to the individual’s needs, fostering a supportive and effective path to mental wellness.

Many psychologists are doctors, but not medical doctors. Psychologists treat mental health issues using talk and other complementary therapies. A Psychiatrist is a medical doctor (MD). They can provide talk and other complementary therapies but primarily treat mental health conditions with medications.

A psychiatrist can give prescriptions and provide medication management for mental health conditions, which a therapist cannot. Additionally, because a psychiatrist is a medical doctor, they have more extensive training in medical issues that may be related to mental health concerns. However, therapists can provide a wide range of evidence-based talk therapies to help individuals manage their mental health conditions, and may work collaboratively with psychiatrists to provide comprehensive care.
