Meet Theodore
- I began working in mental health with my Hennepin-Regions Psychiatry residency program in 2019 where I worked in both in the hospital and clinics for 4 years. I have been practicing in an outpatient clinic for 2 years after residency. - I chose mental healthcare over other medical specialties because it is the specialty that affords me the most time to simply talk to patients and hear their story, patients' stories are what keep me excited to go to work. - I enjoy treating all types of mental illness in adults, from mood disorders and anxiety to psychosis and personality disorders. - I believe that for most patients a combination of medication management and individual therapy is the most effective approach for rapid and enduring healing. I specialize in medication management. - No special certifications - I believe trust between myself and the patient is the basis of healing, even before a medication is taken. My faith is important to me and I am happy to discuss a patient's experience with faith and how it integrates with their mental health.
