Meet TAYLOR
I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arkansas and Texas, and I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University–Texarkana. I began working in the mental health field in 2023, gaining experience in school-based counseling and private practice, where I have had the opportunity to work with school-aged children, adolescents, adults, and families. I chose mental healthcare as my career path after experiencing the impact of therapy in my own life. Through my personal healing journey, I discovered how powerful it can be to feel supported, understood, and empowered. That experience inspired me to help others find their own path toward healing, growth, and resilience. I have a special interest in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. In my work, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach to therapy is integrative and person-centered. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, and I aim to foster a space that includes warmth, authenticity, and even humor when appropriate. Above all, my goal is to ensure that each client feels seen, supported, and valued throughout their healing journey, while empowering them with the tools and insight needed to move forward with confidence.
