Meet Tamara
I’m a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience across diverse mental health settings, including non-profit work, federal halfway houses, group homes, and crisis services. My passion for this field is rooted in helping people build trust, strengthen self-worth, and make meaningful changes. I specialize in supporting women struggling with confidence, LGBTQIA clients, and individuals facing stress and conflict in daily life. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, person-centered care, and solution-focused techniques to help clients manage trauma, build resilience, and grow toward their goals. I strive to create a space where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to pursue healing. I am currently under the clinical supervision of Monte Kuykendall, M DIV, MA, LPC, CPCS.
