Meet Shashank
I’m a double board-certified nurse practitioner practicing psychiatry in Atlanta since 2015. My healthcare journey began in India in 1994, where I provided primary care and psychiatric services before relocating to the U.S. I graduated from the combined bachelor’s-master’s NP program at Kennesaw State University, and later completed post-master’s psychiatric training at the University of Cincinnati. I’m a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau and Golden Key Honor Societies, and have supported diverse populations across outpatient, inpatient, crisis, and telepsychiatry settings. My clinical expertise includes ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, and other complex mental health conditions. I believe in treating every patient with the same empathy and respect I would want for my own family. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, movies, history, music with my daughter Sia, and FaceTime with my father in India. My mission is to help each individual feel supported, understood, and empowered to improve their quality of life.
