Meet Richard
Delivering compassionate, effective care to children, adolescents, and their families is at the heart of my work as a board-certified child, adolescent, and general psychiatrist. I specialize in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. My approach is personalized and patient-centered, rooted in respect for each individual’s unique needs and life circumstances. I understand that seeking mental health support can feel overwhelming, especially for parents navigating care for their children. That’s why I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where patients and families feel heard, empowered, and cared for. I’ve practiced in a variety of settings, including community health centers, hospitals, residential programs, and private practice. My path into psychiatry was shaped by a foundation in medicine from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Michigan, followed by 13 years of service as an Army physician. This diverse background continues to inform my holistic and family-focused approach to care.
