Meet Priamos
My name is Priamos Williams, and I have been working in the mental health field since 2006, with experience in both office and community-based settings. I transitioned from a business background, as I found that I was no longer motivated by the competitive nature of that field. Instead, I wanted to focus on something more meaningful. Influenced by my parents, both career social workers, I chose the mental health profession. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, with a therapeutic focus on ADHD, adjustment disorders, anger management, anxiety, cognitive disorders, relationship counseling, and adolescent/teen issues. I am particularly passionate about helping African-American youth, but I am dedicated to supporting anyone seeking to improve their functioning habits through increased self-awareness and emotional well-being. My approach combines a range of evidence-based models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TI-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eco-Systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). My goal is to provide competent and effective therapeutic support to foster sustained progress and positive change for my clients.
