Empathetic and compassionate, I am a motivated therapist and enjoy working with individuals from all cultural backgrounds. My journey to becoming a therapist was sparked by a personal experience where I witnessed the profound impact of mental health on overall well-being. This realization, coupled with my previous experience as a nurse educator for nearly two decades, helped me understand that emotional well-being is often overlooked in pursuit of achieving physical health. This led me to transition to the mental health field in 2021. My goal is to empower clients by helping them make informed choices and providing the tools and resources needed to overcome life’s challenges. I am committed to continuous learning and believe in a holistic approach to therapy that integrates the body, mind, and spirit to foster well-rounded growth and well-being. I specialize in treating a wide range of concerns, including adjustment disorder, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, grief, post-traumatic stress, and mood disorders. Using evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, the Strength-focused approach, and TF-CBT, my therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and personal transformation.
