Meet Neesha
I began my work in mental healthcare in 2010, gaining experience across diverse settings including community mental health and telehealth. As a psychiatrist double board-certified in adult and child & adolescent psychiatry, I offer a comprehensive, integrative approach blending medication management with psychotherapy. My path into psychiatry was guided by a deep interest in the human mind and a commitment to helping people lead more meaningful lives. I'm passionate about working with pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, and women, supporting them through life's challenges, relationships, and societal pressures. I value building long-term therapeutic relationships in outpatient settings, where trust and collaboration foster lasting change. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and mood instability, with a focus on life transitions, identity development, and chronic stress. My approach draws from evidence-based psychopharmacology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. With a background in nutrition, I bring a holistic perspective, recognizing the connection between physical wellness and emotional well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, cooking, and spending time with family, which keeps me grounded and brings balance to my practice.
