Meet Monte
With over two decades of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, I bring extensive training in Bowenian Family Systems Therapy (www.thebowencenter.org) and Structural Family Therapy (www.minuchincenter.org) to my practice. My therapeutic approach focuses on understanding family dynamics, including boundaries and relational patterns within the family of origin, while also addressing the individual’s needs through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In therapy, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their feelings and work toward their goals. Humor plays an important role in my approach, helping to ease tension and foster connection throughout the process. I also incorporate thoughtful self-disclosure at times, enhancing trust and relatability in our work together. My goal is to offer a non-judgmental space where clients can navigate their challenges and experience meaningful personal growth. For those seeking a holistic treatment approach, I also offer faith-based therapy, integrating Christian principles with therapeutic practices to support the emotional and spiritual well-being of my clients.
