Meet Mia
A key part of my approach is understanding each patient’s unique situation and tailoring treatment accordingly. I respect individuality and develop evidence-based plans rooted in best practices, while encouraging active patient involvement to foster ownership and accountability. I began my career in Physical Therapy before earning a BSN and working in a crisis stabilization unit, my introduction to mental health. I later earned my MSN and became a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I’ve since worked in various mental health settings and taught psychiatric nursing at Georgia State University and the University of North Georgia. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children. We love traveling, exploring new cultures, and sharing family adventures.
