Meet Melissa
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University and my Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Eastern Illinois University. My background as an educator in both public schools and behavioral health hospital settings revealed my passion for supporting individuals through social-emotional challenges and led me to pursue clinical practice. I have experience working with clients of all ages, with a focus on helping people navigate trauma, grief, and relationship concerns. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and trauma. My approach is eclectic, compassionate, and individualized, rooted in each client’s values. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel supported in processing challenges and empowered to build resilience, self-awareness, and growth. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is central to my work, and I am committed to walking alongside clients in their healing journey.
