Meet Meghann
My journey in the mental health field began in 2021, gaining experience in inpatient clinical social work within a diverse and fast-paced setting. My passion for social work was sparked during my time in the veterinary field. While I enjoyed working with animals, I found deeper fulfillment in supporting clients, building rapport, offering emotional support, and helping them access resources. That connection inspired me to pursue social work on a broader scale, focusing on helping people navigate life’s challenges. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, personality and mood disorders, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I use a client-centered, collaborative approach, drawing from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment rooted in empathy, authenticity, and active listening. My goal is to build meaningful therapeutic relationships that empower clients to build resilience, gain clarity, and make lasting positive change.
