Meet Mattie
Mattie is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. Mattie has extensive training and experience in psychiatry, having worked in both outpatient and college campus settings. Her approach to mental health prioritizes collaborative care, involving both the patient and their other healthcare providers. She takes a holistic approach to understanding each patient and works closely with them to develop an individualized treatment plan based on evidence-based practices. Her goal is to positively impact her patients' lives, empowering them on their journey to enhance their mental well-being and achieve their full potential. In her free time, Mattie enjoys reading, spending time at the lake, traveling, attending concerts, and cherishing moments with her friends and family. She is also fond of her pets—Charlie the Pug, Oakley Blu the French Bulldog, and Mister Burger the cat. A Georgia native, Mattie is passionate about college football, especially on Saturdays in the fall. Mattie specializes in treating adults with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD).
