Meet Lauryn
Since 2022, I have provided mental health services to individuals, families, and groups experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment-related difficulties, and interpersonal challenges. I work with clients ages five and older, with a particular interest in supporting children, adolescents, and student athletes as they navigate social pressures, life transitions, and emotional stressors. My approach to therapy is collaborative, respectful, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I view the counseling process as a partnership, where shared goals are developed to reflect each client’s unique experiences and personal aspirations. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is safe, affirming, and conducive to meaningful growth. In my clinical work, I incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play therapy. I also integrate clients’ personal interests—such as art, music, physical activity, and creative expression—as coping strategies that support engagement and resilience. I hold a deep respect for the therapeutic relationship and am committed to supporting clients in their pursuit of emotional well-being and healthier relationships. My goal is to help individuals and families gain the tools and insight needed to create lasting, positive changes in their lives. Outside of my clinical practice, I enjoy spending time outdoors, baking, kayaking, and caring for my dog. It is a privilege to walk alongside each client on their path toward healing and restoration.
