Meet Lauren
I’m a dedicated mental health counselor specializing in child and adolescent mental health, with a strong focus on trauma, anxiety, ADHD, neurodivergence, and adjustment disorders. I’m passionate about supporting children and women as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional struggles. Using a client-centered approach, I strive to create a warm and safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I draw on evidence-based methods such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, family systems theory, and psychodynamic approaches to promote lasting and meaningful change. I believe that healing happens through authentic connection, trust, and individualized care. I have extensive experience helping children process difficult life events, manage overwhelming emotions, and develop emotional resilience. I’m equally committed to supporting women through identity shifts, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, and trauma recovery. I also have a strong background in working with ADHD and neurodivergent clients, tailoring interventions to support executive functioning, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. I value collaboration and often include families in the therapeutic process to strengthen relationships and build long-term support systems. My goal is to help clients access their strengths, deepen self-awareness, and build confidence. I feel truly honored to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and thrive.
