Meet Kenya
I began my professional journey in 2012 on an inpatient psychiatric unit, driven by a deep interest in the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being. I believe that the way we process our inner experiences has a profound impact on both our mental and physical health. My clinical interests include ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, insomnia, OCD, PTSD, minority stress, gender dysphoria, and internalized homophobia/transphobia. I am passionate about providing inclusive, culturally competent care that honors and affirms each individual's identity and lived experience. I work with patients ages 12 and older, using an integrated treatment approach that combines medication management with supportive psychotherapy. I take into account each person’s lifestyle, physical health, and social support systems to create a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan. I am committed to partnering with my patients and addressing mental health one thought at a time—fostering meaningful progress and promoting long-term well-being.
