Meet Julia
I am a thoughtful, dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW ) with over 15 solid years of counseling and therapeutic experience. I obtained my Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Stonybrook University of New York in 2005. My approach to treatment is centered on providing a solution-focused, client-centered therapeutic approach to all populations. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life and socioeconomic backgrounds. Though, Im particularily drawn to helping women deal with relationship issues, domestic abuse, maritaal struggles etc. I also have a niche for assisting individuals with trauma related disorders including Major Depression, Anxiety, Acute stress disorder, and Post traumatic stress disorder. Im particularly strong in building rapport with clients in a compassionate collaborate way. Im also a member of the NASW and stay abreast with the most recent studies, research and treatment interventions.
