Meet Joanna
I offer a supportive, creative space where you can explore what’s holding you back and begin working toward healing and growth. My experience includes counseling children, teens, and adults using a combination of art therapy, talk therapy, play therapy, and somatic techniques. I've worked in nonprofit settings, addiction recovery, trauma-focused care, and private practice. I also provide Christian counseling and have experience with animal-assisted therapy and holistic approaches to healing. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and self-esteem challenges, neurodivergence (ADHD, autism spectrum), relationship issues, life transitions, career changes, and spiritual concerns. My approach is relational and person-centered, drawing from CBT, motivational interviewing, expressive arts, and ecotherapy. With a background in health and exercise science, nursing, and massage therapy, I bring a mind-body perspective to therapy. I believe true healing comes from addressing the whole person.
