Meet Jeremy
I am a Physician Assistant specializing in psychiatry, with a diverse background that enriches my approach to patient care. I graduated from Mount Saint Joseph University in 2020 and have since built a broad range of clinical experiences. Before becoming a PA, I served as an Army combat medic, worked as a medical researcher in genetics and transgenics, contributed to andrology research assisting individuals in starting families, and gained experience in various chemistry-related fields. Additionally, I overcame personal challenges, including experiencing homelessness as a young adult, which has greatly shaped my understanding and empathy toward others. My work in psychiatry spans several settings, including outpatient psychiatry in an underserved area, inpatient psychiatry in a metropolitan hospital, addiction medicine in a region heavily impacted by the opioid crisis, and one of the few psychiatry-specific emergency rooms. These experiences have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of diagnosing, treating, and caring for individuals with a wide range of psychiatric conditions across all age groups. I believe in an integrated approach to care, combining psychiatry and psychotherapy whenever possible, as I see both as essential components of a comprehensive treatment plan. With over four years of exclusive experience in outpatient psychiatry, I have developed a particular passion for working with adolescents, children, and their families. My goal is to empower them with the tools they need to thrive and work toward becoming the best version of themselves. I have a strong interest in treating individuals with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and trauma, and I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for both children and adults.
