Meet Jamie
I am a Therapist and have been providing mental health services for 3 years. I have one year of outpatient experience with adults, a year and seven months in a residential setting for runaway and homeless youth as well as juvenile court involved youth (DYS), and another year with children in the community who are involved with child protective services. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, I moved to Georgia in 2024 alongside my husband. Guided by a lifelong passion for aiding others, I earned my Bachelor's in Social Work from Troy University. I later pursued a Master's in Social Work with a clinical emphasis at Samford University. Focused on children, adolescents, and families within therapeutic settings, I aim to forge a compassionate space that navigates life's intricacies through collaborative therapies and a commitment to partnership. I personalize therapy to meet clients' unique needs, fostering a direct, playful, and supportive environment to establish resilience and well-being, paving the way toward a more fulfilling and empowered life. Beyond the therapeutic realm, I savor precious moments with my husband, friends, and family, exploring the diverse offerings that Georgia has to share.
