As a Licensed Master Social Worker with proud Caribbean roots and living in Georgia for over two decades, I bring a unique multicultural perspective to my therapeutic practice. My approach combines evidence-based methodologies with cultural sensitivity to create an environment where authentic healing and growth can flourish. My academic foundation includes a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Georgia. As someone who has personally navigated cultural transition, I bring firsthand understanding to the complexities of acculturation and identity formation. This experience enhances my ability to support clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly those within BIPOC and marginalized communities. My dedication to mental health extends beyond individual practice to advocating for broader awareness and accessibility, particularly in traditionally underserved communities. While maintaining professional excellence, I believe in bringing authenticity and warmth to the therapeutic relationship. Outside of practice, I maintain a work-life balance through dance and outdoor activities, enjoy a good musical, spend quality time with loved ones, and sleep!!
