Meet Francis
I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2014, starting with clients transitioning from residential care to community living. Before graduate school, I also supported adults on the higher end of the autism spectrum. After earning my graduate degree, I focused on treating substance use disorders—working in both a methadone clinic and a residential program for dually diagnosed clients. I later spent several years in community mental health before moving into private practice with lower acuity and private-pay clients. From a young age, I found that people naturally opened up to me, which led me to pursue clinical work. My approach balances empathy with practical skill-building, helping clients move forward in realistic, effective ways. My specialties include addiction and substance use disorders, trauma, panic attacks, schizoaffective disorder, and men’s mental health. I have a particular interest in panic disorders and often use a structured 12-week CBT program to support clients through them. While I primarily work from an ACT framework, I also incorporate DBT skills when appropriate. I see clients as young as 13 and offer a grounded, solution-focused space for healing and growth.
