Meet Florence
I view therapy as a calling, a space to offer compassion, accountability, and hope, where setbacks become opportunities to reflect, grow, and rebuild. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, I support individuals and couples working through depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, parenting challenges, and complex family dynamics, including within immigrant communities. I also help couples improve communication and connection using evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My clinical background spans private practice, hospitals, and university settings. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling, a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a master’s in French. Outside of counseling, I enjoy music, dancing, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
