As a friendly and relatable professional, I deeply honor the client’s unique perspective and strive to develop a successful therapeutic relationship. I also push clients out of their comfort zones by challenging their existing thought processes and patterns. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, client-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing with a strong emphasis on mindfulness and meditation. LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#82764) in the state of Texas with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Victim Studies from Sam Houston State University. I have been working as a professional counselor since 2019. My experience includes in-person and telehealth work in crisis intervention and counseling, including individual, family, group, and play therapy. I have worked in residential and private practice settings for juvenile offenders, victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and with teen and adults with various mental health disorders including but not limited to Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, PTSD, Grief and loss, Women's issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and processing experienced traumas.
