Meet Cherese
I entered the mental health field with a deep sense of purpose shaped by personal and family experiences. Surviving domestic violence gave me a unique sensitivity and commitment to supporting individuals navigating trauma, sexual assault, and the complex process of rebuilding life after adversity. My practice centers on trauma, attachment, women’s issues, racialized trauma, and spiritual counseling for those seeking meaning, empowerment, and healing. I strive to create a warm, grounding, and collaborative space where clients feel supported in exploring identity, culture, and spirituality while developing practical coping skills for lasting change. My work is also informed by my service as a military medic, where I witnessed both the resilience and vulnerability of the human spirit. I bring that same perspective into therapy, meeting clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and helping them cultivate insight, confidence, and strength. My mission is to walk alongside others as they release burdens of the past and step into a more authentic, purposeful future.
