Meet Brittni
Started working officially as a therapist in 2016 but informally in roles with a heavy mental health component starting in 2011. I am a book lover and enjoy stories of redemption, resilience, friendship and relationships. I also value these qualities in my own personal connections and found that mental health was a career in which not only are you hearing people's stories, but also walking with them in their journey of healing, learning and hope. I love that I get to be part of it. I enjoy working with teenagers, people of all ages who have depression and anxiety, experienced trauma, eating disorder recovery and family dysfunction. I enjoy working with college students navigating stress and career choices. I incorporate a variety of techniques from CBT, DBT, ACT and ERP into most sessions and focus a lot on building rapport and learning what each individual patient might need or want on any given day.
