Meet Aiden
As a Mental Health Specialist and Physician Assistant, I’ve been dedicated to the mental healthcare field since 2015, grounded in both psychology and biomedical science. My journey began in undergraduate research, where I supported psychological assessments, screenings, and treatments with follow-up evaluations. This early hands-on experience ignited my passion for supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. Trained through the Interservice Physician Assistant Program and currently serving in the National Guard, I bring a military-informed perspective to my practice. My personal experiences with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia within my immediate family have deepened my empathy and reinforced my commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. I have a focused interest in treating schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, substance use, and personality disorders. My approach combines medication management with talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and supportive counseling. I emphasize a holistic model of care, coordinating with other providers to address all aspects of a patient’s well-being. I take pride in helping individuals build or rebuild essential living skills and effective coping mechanisms. Understanding the complexities of managing mental illness, I strive to empower patients by amplifying their strengths and minimizing the impact of their symptoms—supporting them in leading meaningful, fulfilling lives.
