We’re located at 225 Reformation Pkwy in Suite 200, which is inside Thrive at the Mill on Etowah.

To get to our space at The Mill, we would recommend parking in the main lot that is next to the stage and green. From the lot, proceed up the concrete walkway between the back of the stage and the Kilwins/Campania building, heading toward the main Mill building. There will be an exterior staircase that you can take to the second floor, or you can go into “The Shoppes,” and there is an elevator just inside that can take you to the second floor. Once you are on the second floor, you will see large glass double doors to the right. The receptionist’s desk is just inside Suite 200 on the left side.

Many psychologists are doctors, but not medical doctors. Psychologists treat mental health conditions using talk and other complementary therapies. Psychiatrists are medical doctors (MDs). Psychiatrists can provide talk and other complementary therapies but primarily treat mental health conditions with medications.

A psychiatrist can prescribe medication and provide medication management for mental health conditions, which a therapist cannot. Additionally, because psychiatrists are medical doctors, they have more extensive training in medical issues that may be related to mental health concerns. However, therapists can provide a wide range of evidence-based talk therapies to help individuals manage their mental health conditions and may work collaboratively with psychiatrists to provide comprehensive care.
